
Getting Here
By Ferry:
Calmac offer sailings from Ullapool to Stornoway and Uig on Skye to Tarbert, Harris. Alternatively, if exploring more of the Hebrides, there is also a crossing between Bernera, North Uist and Leverburgh on Harris.
By Air:
Loganair fly to Stornoway from Scottish airports, including, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness.
By Road:
From Stornoway airport:
On leaving the airport, turn right onto A866 towards Stornoway. Leave the town following the sign for Tarbert/A859.
Follow the road for 53 miles, passing Tarbert. The Sheep Station is approximately 25 minutes drive from Tarbert on the left-hand side after the sign for the hamlet of Scaristavore.
From Stornoway Harbour:
Follow the directions as above from Stornoway.
From Tarbert Harbour:
On leaving Tarbert, turn left onto A859 towards Leverburgh. After approximately 25 minutes, The Sheep Station is on the left-hand side after the sign for the hamlet of Scaristavore.
From Leverburgh Harbour:
After leaving the harbour, turn left at the T-junction towards Tarbert on A859. Follow the road for approximately 6 miles. The Sheep Station is located on the right-hand side in the hamlet of Scaristavore after Harris Golf Club.
